Laser Visuals Research has undertaken several laser display safety projects researching engineering methods and processes, which can be used to increase the levels of safety at displays from excessive laser radiation exposure.

Through work partly funded by the UK Government's Department of Trade & Industry, Laser Visuals Research has been able to carry out a program of research into scanned laser emissions and techniques to reduce the hazards of laser radiation.

Laser Visuals Research has been able to combine a range of state of the art hardware and software disciplines to develop innovative techniques to limit laser radiation exposure to predetermined levels.

The innovative work and technical achievement carried out in this area, has been recognised by the DTI who awarded Laser Visuals Research with a Smart Award. The continued investment in research into this area of laser safety enable Laser Visuals Research to remain at the forefront of developing the most advanced engineering solutions to improving laser display safety.
